2025 WTA Finals Qualifiers

The doubles field for the prestigious 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh presented by PIF is officially complete, with the final two spots being secured by the formidable teams of Timea Babos & Luisa Stefani and Asia Muhammad & Demi Schuurs.

These two pairings join a spectacular line-up of six previously qualified teams, bringing together the eight best doubles partnerships of the season to compete for the WTA Finals Martina Navratilova Trophy from November 1–8, 2025.

The Final Qualifiers

The last two teams to punch their ticket to Riyadh demonstrated consistent excellence throughout the season on the PIF Race to the WTA Finals Leaderboard.

  • Timea Babos and Luisa Stefani secured their qualification with a stellar season highlighted by four finals appearances. The Hungarian-Brazilian duo claimed three titles: the WTA 500 Upper Austria Ladies Linz, the Internationaux de Strasbourg, and the WTA 250 SP Open in Sao Paulo. While this marks Stefani’s WTA Finals debut, Babos brings a champion’s pedigree, having won the event three times (2017-2019) with previous partners.
  • Asia Muhammad and Demi Schuurs round out the field after a breakout season that saw them capture two major titles. The American-Dutch partnership triumphed at the WTA 1000 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) and celebrated a historic win at the WTA 500 HSBC Championships, marking the return of women’s tennis to London’s Queen’s Club after over 50 years. For Muhammad, this is her first appearance at the season finale, while Schuurs is celebrating her sixth qualification, with three previous semifinal runs.
