The official draw for the 2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship presented by Vital Proteins® was revealed on Sunday, August 23, locking in a star-studded bracket at Flushing Meadows. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic lead the 16-team main draw as the No. 1 seeds, anchoring an elite upper half that also features marquee wild cards Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz.
Main-draw play kicks off Tuesday, August 25, with matches scheduled across Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium as teams compete for a record $1,000,000 champion’s payout ($500,000 for the runner-up team).
Upper Half: Sabalenka & Djokovic on Collision Course with Williams & Alcaraz
The top half of the draw features massive star power, setting up potential electric showdowns under the New York lights:
- First-Round Blockbuster: Top seeds Sabalenka and Djokovic open their campaign against the dynamic wild card duo of Leylah Fernandez and Frances Tiafoe. Schedule & Format
- Monday, Aug. 24: Qualifying draw at Grandstand (11:00 AM ET) to determine the two remaining main-draw teams.
- Tuesday, Aug. 25: Main Draw First Round & Quarterfinals at Louis Armstrong (10:00 AM ET) and Arthur Ashe (11:00 AM ET). Broadcast live on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
- Wednesday, Aug. 26: Semifinals (7:00 PM ET) followed by the Championship Final (9:00 PM ET) in Arthur Ashe Stadium, broadcast on ESPN2, ESPN, and ESPN+.
All matches from qualifying through the semifinals will utilize short sets to four games (tiebreak at 4-4) with no-ad scoring and a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a third set. The final on Wednesday night will expand to full sets to six games.
