History

The tournament was previously held in Dobrich, Bulgaria, in 2024 under the name Izida Cup, with two editions that year. The first edition in Dobrich was won by Juan Bautista Torres in singles, while the second was won by Guy den Ouden. The tournament moved to Sofia in 2025 and was renamed the Genesis Trading Cup.
