2027 WTA Tour Calendar: Full Schedule & Dates

The 2027 WTA Tour calendar will take women’s tennis around the world for another packed season, with 55 events across 26 countries and territories. From the opening tournaments in Australia in January to the season-ending WTA Finals in Charlotte, North Carolina, the calendar brings together WTA 1000, WTA 500 and WTA 250 events alongside the four Grand Slam tournaments.

The new season also brings several notable additions and changes. The WTA Tour will visit both established tennis destinations and newer markets, including the arrival of the Philippine Women’s Open in Manila, a new WTA 250 tournament. The Asian swing remains an important part of the closing months of the season, with tournaments in Singapore, Seoul, Beijing, Wuhan, Ningbo, Osaka, Tokyo, Guangzhou and Hong Kong before the WTA Finals.

Another major milestone comes in prize money. In 2027, all combined WTA 1000 tournaments will offer equal prize money to women and men for the first time. Rome, the Canadian Open and Cincinnati will reach that target in 2027, joining Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Beijing, as well as the United Cup and the four Grand Slam tournaments.

The WTA has also introduced changes designed to give players more flexibility when planning their seasons. Top-50 singles players will have their required number of WTA 500 appearances reduced from six to four, while players will also be allowed to replace one eligible WTA 1000 ranking result with a stronger result from a WTA 500 or WTA 250 event. These measures are being introduced as a one-year pilot for the 2027 season.
