Carlos Alcaraz 2025 Season: Schedule and Money Earned

The 2025 tennis season saw Spanish phenomenon Carlos Alcaraz deliver one of the most dominant performances of his young career, officially beginning with the Australian Open on January 12. By the end of September 2025, Alcaraz had claimed eight calendar titles, achieved a remarkable 67-6 singles season record (91.78%), and finished the Japan Open with $16,048,017 in calendar prize money.

A defining feature of the season was Alcaraz’s success in the sport’s biggest tournaments. He not only won his second consecutive French Open title, securing his fifth major overall, but also captured his second US Open title, bringing his total Grand Slam count to six. His Grand Slam performance was exceptional, reaching at least the quarterfinals of all four majors for the first time in his career, though his winning streak in major finals was broken with a loss to Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon. Alcaraz also achieved the remarkable feat of winning major titles on each surface, becoming the fourth and youngest man in the Open Era to win multiple Grand Slam titles on hard, clay, and grass courts.

Masters Dominance and Historical Feats

Alcaraz’s success was not limited to the Grand Slams, as he added three Masters 1000 trophies to his collection: Monte-Carlo, Italian Open, and Cincinnati. By winning the Cincinnati Open, he became the youngest man to complete the “set of big American titles” (Indian Wells, Miami, Cincinnati, and the US Open), surpassing the record previously held by Pete Sampras. Furthermore, his victory at the Italian Open made him only the third man, after Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, to win every modern big clay title: Roland Garros, Monte Carlo, Madrid, and Rome.

Throughout the season, Alcaraz amassed other career milestones, including winning his first indoor hardcourt title at the Rotterdam Open , securing his 250th career victory at the Queen’s Club Championships , and achieving a 24-match winning streak, the longest of his career. Following his US Open triumph, he reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking for the first time in two years
