2026 Chengdu Open

September 23 September 29 UTC-4

Last updated on August 6, 2026

Since its inception in 2016, the Chengdu Open has become a cornerstone of the ATP Tour’s Asian swing, sitting alongside fellow Chinese stops in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai. Held at the Sichuan International Tennis Center, the venue features a 6,000-seat centre court, two secondary show courts with 2,000 seats each, and a total of 20 outdoor hard courts plus 12 indoor courts—offering world-class facilities for players and fans alike.

Off the court, Chengdu enchants with its own brand of allure. As the legendary home of the giant panda, the city welcomes the tennis world with warmth and hospitality, while giving players a chance to immerse themselves in a captivating blend of ancient tradition and modern energy. The tournament made history in 2024 when Shang Juncheng became the first Chinese player ever to win an ATP Tour title on home soil—a milestone that added an unforgettable chapter to the event’s growing legacy.
