2026 Mutua Madrid Open – Saturday October 25 Order of Play
The weekend has officially arrived at the Caja Mágica, and Saturday, April 25th, is set to be an absolute thriller! If you thought Friday was exciting, Saturday at the 2026 Mutua Madrid Open takes things to a whole new level. We have World No. 1s, Spanish derbies, and grand slams champions scattered across every court.
Here is your guide to the action you cannot afford to miss.
Heavyweights Headline Manolo Santana Stadium
The main stage opens at 11:00 AM with a high-quality WTA matchup between the tactical Belinda Bencic and the powerful Diana Shnaider. Following them, the home crowd will be out in full force to support Jaume Munar as he faces a monumental task against the “King of Clay” contender Casper Ruud. Ruud’s heavy topspin is built for these courts, but Munar in Madrid is always a dangerous opponent.
As we move into the afternoon, the “not before 4:00 PM” slot features the towering German Alexander Zverev taking on Argentina’s Mariano Navone. Zverev has a storied history in Madrid, and his serve-plus-one game is lethal here.
The night session is pure box-office. First, the defending champion (and fan favorite) Aryna Sabalenka brings her “Tiger” energy to the clay against Jaqueline Cristian. To close out the night, expect some chaos and brilliance as the unpredictable Alexander Bublik faces off against the stylish Stefanos Tsitsipas. It’s a contrast of personalities that is guaranteed to keep the fans in their seats until the early hours!
A Spanish Derby and Star Power on Arantxa Sanchez
If you’re looking for local passion, look no further than the Arantxa Sanchez Stadium at 11:00 AM. We have an all-Spanish blockbuster between Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Pablo Carreño Busta. Expect long rallies, incredible gets, and a very divided (but loud) crowd!
The star power continues with the phenomenal Mirra Andreeva, followed by the dominant World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, who takes on American Ann Li. Swiatek’s slide on clay is a work of art, and she’ll be looking to make a statement early in the tournament.
Later in the evening, the “Chess Master” Daniil Medvedev faces the dangerous Fabian Marozsan. And for the night owls, we have a true treat: Naomi Osaka taking on Anhelina Kalinina. Seeing Osaka’s hard-hitting game adapt to the Madrid clay is always one of the most interesting storylines of the week.
Stadium 3 and the Legends of the Game
Stadium 3 is packed with talent today, featuring Karen Khachanov, Leylah Fernandez, and the athletic Felix Auger-Aliassime. For fans of Italian tennis, the rising star Jasmine Paolini will also be in action.
One of the biggest hidden gems of the day happens on Court 6. The legendary Venus Williams is teaming up with Katie Boulter for a doubles match against the Chinese duo of Jiang and Xu. Seeing a legend like Venus in the intimate setting of an outer court is what makes the Madrid Open so special for the fans.
