The 2025 Dongfeng Voyah · Wuhan Open is a women’s tennis tournament to be played on outdoor hard courts. It is the 8th edition of the Wuhan Open and a WTA 1000 event on the 2025 WTA Tour. The Wuhan Open, founded in 2014, is one of the premier women’s tennis tournaments in Asia. It returned to the WTA calendar in 2024 after a four-year hiatus and has since been a prominent stop on the Asian swing, following the China Open in Beijing. The tournament is a WTA 1000 event, making it one of the largest women’s tournaments in East Asia.
The Optics Valley International Tennis Centre features seven courts, including the main Central Court stadium with a seating capacity of 15,000.
