2026 Almaty Open

October 17 October 25 +05

Updated on August 6, 2026

Following two highly successful editions in 2020 and 2021, the Astana Open earned a permanent place on the ATP Tour calendar in 2022—a testament to Kazakhstan’s growing prominence in the world of professional tennis. The tournament quickly became a favorite among players, thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities, passionate crowds, and seamless organization. In 2024, the event underwent a significant transformation, relocating from the capital city of Astana to Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest metropolis and cultural hub, with a population exceeding 2 million.

Rebranded as the Almaty Open, the tournament now finds its home at the Almaty Arena, a modern indoor hard-court venue capable of accommodating thousands of spectators. The move not only reflects the country’s ambition to elevate its sporting profile but also positions the event in a city renowned for its vibrant energy, rich history, and status as a regional center for business and the arts. With its new identity and location, the Almaty Open continues to attract top-tier talent from around the globe, offering valuable ATP points and serving as a key stop in the autumn indoor swing, while showcasing the best of Kazakh hospitality and sporting excellence.
