ACAPULCO, MEXICO โ€“ The lineup for the 2026 Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado por HSBC (2026 Mexican Open) has been officially confirmed, signaling one of the most competitive editions in the tournamentโ€™s 33-year history. Featuring four Top-10 players and a heartfelt farewell tour, the Arena GNP Seguros is set to host a world-class field from February 23 to 28.

Headlining the draw is World No. 3 Alexander Zverev, a former champion (2021) who remains a perennial favorite in Acapulco. Joining him is the rising Italian star Lorenzo Musetti, currently ranked No. 5, who arrives in Mexico following a grueling “Golden Swing” through Buenos Aires and Rio.

The Title Contenders

The 32-player singles draw is packed with firepower. Two-time champion Alex De Minaur (2023, 2024) returns to reclaim his crown, while American sensation Ben Shelton and Norwegian powerhouse Casper Ruud round out the elite Tier-1 favorites.

Notably, 2025 finalist Alejandro Davidovich Fokina is back to settle unfinished business. However, the tournament will see a change in the guard as the 2025 champion, Tomรกลก Machรกฤ, has opted to compete in Dubai this year, leaving the throne vacant for a new or returning king.
