FRISCO, Texas – The Nexo Dallas Open has officially unveiled its player field for the 2026 tournament, signaling a new era for the event under a new title sponsor. Scheduled for February 7–15, 2026, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, the tournament boasts one of the strongest indoor lineups on the ATP Tour, featuring seven top-25 players and a massive contingent of American talent.

Now an ATP 500 event, the tournament has drawn commitments from four of the highest-ranked American men—Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, and rising star Learner Tien—along with international standouts like Norway’s Casper Ruud and defending champion Denis Shapovalov.

A “Premier Event” on the Tour

Tournament Director Peter Lebedevs emphasized the depth of the 2026 roster.

“This year’s player field reflects the continued growth of the Nexo Dallas Open and our place among the premier events on the ATP Tour,” Lebedevs said. “With a strong mix of established stars, elite American talent and emerging players, fans can expect an outstanding week of world-class tennis.”

The American Contingent

Ben Shelton, currently the top-ranked American at World No. 7, headlines the field. Shelton returns to Dallas for the third consecutive year following a breakout 2025 season that saw him capture the Toronto title and reach the semifinals of the Australian Open.

Joining him is World No. 9 Taylor Fritz, a consistent fixture in the ATP elite, and fan favorites Tommy Paul (No. 21) and Frances Tiafoe (No. 32).

The field also highlights the next generation of American stars. Learner Tien, the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals Champion, will compete alongside Brandon Nakashima, Sebastian Korda, and Alex Michelsen. Additionally, former Dallas Open champions Reilly Opelka and Tommy Paul look to reclaim the title.

International Star Power & Wild Cards

The international draw is equally formidable. Casper Ruud (No. 13), a former World No. 2 and Grand Slam finalist, leads the charge from abroad. He is joined by Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov, a former ATP Finals champion, and Canadian Denis Shapovalov, who returns to defend his Dallas crown. Veteran Grand Slam champion Marin Cilic also features in the lineup.

On the collegiate front, SMU junior Trevor Svajda has accepted a wild card invitation. The 2025 NCAA Singles Championship Runner-Up will make another appearance at the tour level after debuting in the 2024 Dallas qualifying rounds.
