In recent years, the event has showcased a blend of veteran guile and rising talent, with the last three champions exemplifying that mix: the mercurial Alexander Bublik, who dazzled his way to the title in 2023; the relentless consistency of Roberto Bautista Agut, who triumphed in 2024; and the explosive athleticism of Félix Auger-Aliassime, who claimed the crown in 2025. As the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open embarks on its Brussels era, it carries with it the legacy of Belgian tennis excellence while forging a fresh identity in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities.
