Russian World No. 95 Anna Blinkova captured her second career WTA singles title today, defeating Austrian wildcard Lilli Tagger 6-3, 6-3 in a disciplined performance at the Jiangxi Open final at the Nanchang International Tennis Center.
For her flawless run, during which she did not drop a single set, Blinkova earned the winner’s check of $36,300. This victory is her first championship in three years—since the Cluj-Napoca Open in 2022—and is set to propel her WTA ranking significantly, pushing her closer to the Top 70.
A Flawless Run to the Title
The 27-year-old Russian showcased tactical brilliance throughout the week. En route to the final, Blinkova overcame a series of tough opponents, including:

In the doubles event, the pair of Quinn Gleason and Elena Pridankina emerged victorious, defeating Ekaterina Ovcharenko and Emily Webley-Smith 6–4, 2–6, [10–6] in the championship match. As doubles champions, they split the team prize money of $13,200. This marks the first WTA Tour doubles title for Pridankina and the second for Gleason.
