2026 ATP Finals Qualifiers: Alcaraz Joins Sinner and Zverev in Turin
The field for the 2026 Nitto ATP Finals is beginning to take shape, with Carlos Alcaraz becoming the latest singles player to secure his place at the prestigious season-ending championships in Turin.
Alcaraz joins Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the singles field, while three doubles teams have also confirmed their places: Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, and Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski.
The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals will take place at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, from November 15-22, bringing together the leading singles players and doubles teams from the season.

Carlos Alcaraz Qualifies for Fifth Consecutive ATP Finals
Carlos Alcaraz has secured his place at the Nitto ATP Finals for the fifth consecutive season, adding another milestone to an eventful 2026 campaign.
The Spaniard’s qualification follows a season highlighted by his triumph at the Australian Open, where he completed the Career Grand Slam. Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in the Melbourne final to win his first Australian Open title and became the youngest man in the Open Era to win all four Grand Slam singles titles.
Alcaraz also lifted the trophy in Doha and reached the ATP Masters 1000 final in Monte-Carlo before a wrist injury interrupted his season.
He returned in time for the US Open and advanced to the quarter-finals, where Ben Shelton edged him in a dramatic five-set match decided by a final-set tie-break.
Alcaraz will now turn his attention toward Turin, where he will continue his pursuit of a first Nitto ATP Finals title. He owns a 7-5 record at the season-ending championships and reached the final for the first time in 2025, losing to Sinner.
Jannik Sinner Was the First to Qualify
Jannik Sinner became the first singles player to qualify for the 2026 Nitto ATP Finals on July 10 after reaching the Wimbledon final.
The Italian went on to win Wimbledon and will return to Turin as the two-time defending ATP Finals champion. Sinner has been particularly dominant at the event, winning the 2024 and 2025 titles without dropping a match in either campaign.
The 2026 edition will mark Sinner’s fourth consecutive appearance in the main field and fifth ATP Finals appearance overall, including his 2021 appearance as an alternate.
Alexander Zverev Books Another Turin Appearance
Alexander Zverev became the second singles player to qualify, securing his Turin place in August.
The German has enjoyed one of the strongest seasons of his career, highlighted by his breakthrough Roland Garros title and another deep run at Wimbledon. He later added a second major title by winning the US Open.
Zverev has now qualified for the year-end championships nine times in the past 10 seasons. He is also one of the most successful active players at the tournament, having won the ATP Finals in 2018 and 2021.
His experience in Turin could make him one of the major names to watch when the season finale begins in November.
Heliovaara and Patten Lead the Doubles Qualifiers
Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten became the first doubles team to qualify for Turin after winning the Wimbledon title in July.
The Finnish-British pairing will make its third consecutive ATP Finals appearance and return as the defending champion after winning the 2025 season finale.
Their Wimbledon victory was already their fifth tour-level title of the 2026 season, underlining another highly productive campaign for one of the leading teams in men’s doubles.
Granollers and Zeballos Secure Seventh Straight Qualification
Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos will return to Turin for an impressive seventh consecutive season.
The Spanish-Argentine team officially secured its place after reaching the third round of the US Open. Their 2026 campaign has been highlighted by another Roland Garros title, their third Grand Slam championship together.
Granollers and Zeballos previously reached the ATP Finals championship match in 2023 and have also made multiple semi-final appearances at the event.
Harrison and Skupski Qualify After US Open Triumph
Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski became the third doubles team to book a place in Turin after capturing the 2026 US Open men’s doubles title.
Their qualification caps a remarkable first season together. Harrison and Skupski also won the Australian Open, making them one of only three men’s teams this century to capture both the Australian Open and US Open titles in the same season.
For Skupski, this will be his fourth ATP Finals appearance with a third different partner. Harrison will make his second appearance after qualifying alongside Evan King in 2025.
The Race to Turin Continues
With Sinner, Zverev and Alcaraz already qualified, five places remain to complete the eight-player singles field.
The battle for those remaining spots will intensify during the final stretch of the ATP season, with players including Ben Shelton and several other contenders fighting to collect the points required to reach Turin.
The doubles race is also far from over, with five additional teams still to join Heliovaara/Patten, Granollers/Zeballos and Harrison/Skupski.
